The Order of Christian Initiation for Adults is a program for adults who are interested in becoming Catholic but who have not received the three sacraments of initiation into the Catholic Church (Baptism, Eucharist, Confirmation). Candidates who have been baptized in another Christian denomination generally receive only Eucharist and Confirmation. The program is designed to educate the participants regarding the teachings of the Catholic Church, but also to foster and encourage a deeper, personal relationship with Jesus Christ. If you or someone you know is interested in becoming Catholic – or who has been baptized Catholic but has not received First Communion and/or Confirmation, OCIA is designed for you to learn about the Catholic faith and to become Catholic if that is your desire. The program starts each year in September and continues until Easter. OCIA meets on Sundays from approximately 9:00am to noon.

Young Adult Ministry at Saint John Vianney meets every other Tuesday at 6:15 in the social hall or Young Adult room downstairs. Light snacks are provided each meeting.

Opportunities for prayer, community service, and social events with the young adult community will be offered twice per month. This is a great community of young adults in our community who come together for fellowship and faith.

Workers and professionals, single or married, with or without children, or newcomers in search of a better faith life. Anyone, ages 21-35, are invited to join us.

We also do many activities throughout the month! Click the link to join our GroupMe for updated information on activities and meeting changes.  https://groupme.com/join_group/68939221/LOC6CBy1
