Welcome to Saint John Vianney

Tim Songster Jr. Benefit

On September 24, St. John Vianney is holding a benefit for Timothy Dean Songster Jr., who is a young man preparing for Confirmation in our program who was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma, a rare form of bone cancer in children. Obviously fighting this cancer costs so much money, and the bills are piling up for his mother, Cheryl.

They will be serving lunch and dinner. More details to follow as they become available. See the flyer below!!

Tim Jr will be making a rare appearance on that date. Even if you aren't interested in eating, I hope you will consider stopping by to see him that day in support and encouragement.

For those of you that are business owners or know anyone who may be able, we are seeking donations for raffle prizes and door prizes.

Be strong. Stand Tall. Walk Proud. Walk Before You Run.

IGNATIUS of LOYOLA: Soldier, Sinner, Saint

The Movie, “IGNATIUS of LOYOLA: Soldier, Sinner, Saint”

On October 2nd, 4th and 5th at the Alamo Drafthouse Theater at12750 Westport Pkwy in LaVista (close to Cabelas). Doors open at 6:30! Dinner and drinks available for purchase. We will be showing the powerful feature film, IGNATIUS of LOYOLA: Soldier, Sinner, Saint, an epic new motion picture based on true events in the life of the founder of the Jesuits, Saint Ignatius of Loyola.

Filmed in English, on location in Spain with an extremely talented cast of Spanish actors, and an incredibly beautiful music score, the story of Ignatius of Loyola, his tumultuous life, passions, sinfulness, conversion and ultimately virtuous life bursts onto the screen and into the minds and hearts of the viewers, illuminating the life of St. Ignatius like never before.

The story of St. Ignatius is as relevant today as it was more than 500 years ago. And now you are invited to get up close and personal with one of the greatest saints of all time! Prior to the film, a brief introduction to St. Ignatius will be offered by Jesuit Father Kevin Schneider.

Don’t miss this incredible opportunity! This film is rated PG 13 and patrons under the age of 17 must be with an adult.
